Day By Day
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be greeted by Active Planet Safaris representative who will transfer you to Gran Melia Arusha, a luxurious hotel offering a relaxing environment to start your adventure. Arusha, a key city in Tanzania’s safari circuit, serves as a bustling hub for travelers exploring northern Tanzania. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to unwind and prepare for the journey ahead.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up by your guide and driven to Tarangire National Park, known for its impressive elephant herds and ancient Baobab trees. The park, named after the Tarangire River, is a critical water source for wildlife during the dry season. Expect to see large groups of elephants, giraffes, and various predators. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park, and after your game drive, you'll head to Maramboi Tented Lodge, which offers a comfortable retreat near the park.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Today, you’ll visit Lake Manyara National Park, known for its striking landscapes and diverse wildlife. The park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Explore the dense forest, the soda lake, and the Great Rift Escarpment. After a full day of exploration, you’ll drive to Kitela Lodge in Karatu for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is famous for its expansive grasslands and the annual Great Migration. Enjoy the unique landscapes and diverse wildlife, including the possibility of witnessing the migration if it's the right season. Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Day 7: Karatu to Arusha
