Day By Day

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

1. Experience: After a long flight, you'll arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be greeted by your dedicated Active Planet Safaris driver-guide. They will help with your luggage and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel.
2. Accommodation: You’ll stay at Hamerkop House, a luxury villa offering elegant rooms with private facilities, stunning views, and top-notch service.
3. Dining: Enjoy a welcome dinner at the villa’s restaurant, featuring locally sourced ingredients. All non-alcoholic beverages are included.
4. Relaxation: After dinner, unwind in the lounge or explore the garden areas. You can even take a swim or enjoy a massage (subject to availability).

Day 2: Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

1. Morning: After a delicious breakfast, your guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephant herds and striking landscapes filled with baobab trees. You'll embark on a full-day game drive.
2. Wildlife: Apart from the elephants, expect to see lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and even tree-climbing African pythons. Tarangire is also a birder’s paradise, with over 550 species to spot.
3. Accommodation: You’ll stay at Lemala Mpingo Ridge, a luxurious lodge with spacious rooms that offer panoramic views of the park. The lodge features modern amenities like a private plunge pool, a spa, and Wi-Fi.
4. Dining: Enjoy a three-course dinner with a variety of dishes and beverages, excluding spirits and liquor. Meals are crafted by professional chefs with local and international flavors.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro

1. Morning: After breakfast, you'll drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the Serengeti National Park. During the drive, you’ll pass the famous Ngorongoro Crater Rim, with scenic stops for photos.
2. Wildlife: This is a perfect day to spot the "Big Five" — lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and black rhino. Serengeti is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration, which occurs from July to October in the northern region.
3. Accommodation: Stay at Lemala Nanyukie, a luxury tented camp located in the heart of the Serengeti. Enjoy top-tier comfort with spacious tents, private decks, and a plunge pool.
4. Activities: Game drives and optional hot-air balloon safaris (subject to availability).
5. Dining: Savor gourmet meals, including a bush dinner under the stars.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti

1. Morning: Wake up to the sounds of the wild. After breakfast, your driver-guide will take you on a full-day exploration of Serengeti National Park.
2. Wildlife: You'll have more opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and many other animals. The Serengeti is known for its large predator population and exciting game viewing.
3. Accommodation: Continue your stay at Lemala Nanyukie with exceptional service and amenities.
4. Optional: You may also choose to add a bush walk or a cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village to learn about their traditions and lifestyle.
5. Dining: All meals are included, and you can opt for special dietary requests with prior notice.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

1. Morning: After breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater, often described as one of the natural wonders of the world. You'll descend into the crater for a game drive.
2. Wildlife: The crater is home to around 25,000 large animals, including black rhinos, lions, leopards, wildebeests, and flamingos in the soda lakes. You might also see Maasai tribes herding their cattle.
3. Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor with views of the stunning landscape and grazing animals.
4. Accommodation: Return to Hamerkop House in Arusha for a final night of relaxation.
5. Dining: A farewell dinner will be provided at the villa.

Day 6: Departure

1. Morning: After breakfast, you can enjoy your last morning in Tanzania by the pool, reflecting on your safari experience. The villa offers spa treatments or last-minute souvenir shopping if time allows.
2. Transfer: Later, you’ll be driven to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight.
