Day By Day
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
- Experience: After a long flight, you'll arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be greeted by your dedicated Active Planet Safaris driver-guide. They will help with your luggage and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel.
- Accommodation: You’ll stay at Hamerkop House, a luxury villa offering elegant rooms with private facilities, stunning views, and top-notch service.
- Dining: Enjoy a welcome dinner at the villa’s restaurant, featuring locally sourced ingredients. All non-alcoholic beverages are included.
- Relaxation: After dinner, unwind in the lounge or explore the garden areas. You can even take a swim or enjoy a massage (subject to availability).
Day 2: Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
- Morning: After a delicious breakfast, your guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephant herds and striking landscapes filled with baobab trees. You'll embark on a full-day game drive.
- Wildlife: Apart from the elephants, expect to see lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and even tree-climbing African pythons. Tarangire is also a birder’s paradise, with over 550 species to spot.

- Wildlife: This is a perfect day to spot the "Big Five" — lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and black rhino. Serengeti is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration, which occurs from July to October in the northern region.

- Accommodation: Continue your stay at Lemala Nanyukie with exceptional service and amenities.
- Optional: You may also choose to add a bush walk or a cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village to learn about their traditions and lifestyle.
- Dining: All meals are included, and you can opt for special dietary requests with prior notice.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
- Morning: After breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Crater, often described as one of the natural wonders of the world. You'll descend into the crater for a game drive.
- Wildlife: The crater is home to around 25,000 large animals, including black rhinos, lions, leopards, wildebeests, and flamingos in the soda lakes. You might also see Maasai tribes herding their cattle.
- Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor with views of the stunning landscape and grazing animals.
- Accommodation: Return to Hamerkop House in Arusha for a final night of relaxation.

Day 6: Departure

- Transfer: Later, you’ll be driven to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight.
