Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our driver-guide and transferred to your luxury accommodation in Arusha, a scenic hour’s drive away. Upon reaching, take time to relax and unwind in your comfortable surroundings at the **Mount Meru Hotel**, renowned for its elegance and top-notch amenities.
If you arrive early and are eager to begin your adventure, you have the option to enhance your experience with a variety of enriching activities (additional costs apply):

Day 2: Drive to Tarangire National Park
After a delightful breakfast at the Mount Meru Hotel, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's third-largest national park, renowned for its impressive elephant herds and stunning landscapes.
Tarangire's landscape is dominated by its iconic baobab trees, which tower above the savannah and create a dramatic backdrop for wildlife viewing. The park's diverse ecosystems, centered around the life-giving Tarangire River, attract a rich array of wildlife. Here, you may encounter majestic elephants—often numbering up to 6,000—alongside lions, leopards, cheetahs, and various other species.
Once inside the park, you'll embark on exhilarating game drives, spotting wildlife while enjoying a picnic lunch amidst the park's natural beauty. ### Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park – “The Endless Plain”
After a hearty breakfast, you'll continue your safari adventure as you journey to Serengeti National Park, famously known as “The Endless Plain.” This iconic wildlife sanctuary is celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes and unparalleled natural beauty. With vast savannahs and scattered forests, the Serengeti boasts the highest concentration of plains game in Africa.
The Serengeti is also renowned for the Great Migration, a spectacular natural event where millions of wildebeest and zebra traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing grounds. This annual migration is one of the most awe-inspiring wildlife phenomena on the planet.
Upon arrival, you’ll embark on your first game drive in this extraordinary park, immersing yourself in its dynamic ecosystems and observing a rich tapestry of wildlife. As the day draws to a close, you’ll head to Embalakai Camp for dinner and your overnight stay, where you can unwind and reflect on your exhilarating day in the heart of the Serengeti.
Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Start your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a full day of game viewing in Serengeti National Park. You'll explore the central Serengeti, also known as the "Big Cat Capital of Africa," a prime area renowned for its year-round wildlife sightings and incredible biodiversity.
Seronera, the central region of the Serengeti, offers exceptional opportunities to observe a diverse array of resident wildlife. Here, you'll encounter elephants, giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, hippos, reedbucks, buffalo, and baboons. Even outside the Great Migration, this area remains teeming with wildlife.
Throughout your game drive, keep an eye out for the elusive predators—lions, leopards, and cheetahs—that thrive in this rich environment. The central Serengeti’s varied habitats ensure that you’re never far from fascinating animal encounters.
After a day filled with spectacular wildlife experiences, you'll return to your accommodation. Enjoy a relaxing evening, savor a delightful dinner, and unwind as you reflect on the day's adventures before settling in for a restful night.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Begin your day with an early breakfast before setting off towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you'll descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most breathtaking wildlife havens in the world. This volcanic caldera, often described as a "Garden of Eden," is home to a unique ecosystem with over 25,000 resident animals.
The crater's rich and diverse wildlife includes the Big Five—lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and black rhino—as well as zebra, hippo, wildebeest, and hyena. This extraordinary environment offers unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing, making it a highlight of your safari experience.
After exploring the crater, you'll ascend from this natural wonder and drive to Karatu. Here, you'll check in to your accommodation, where you can unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner. Spend the night in comfort, reflecting on the day's incredible encounters and the beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Start your day with a drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet incredibly diverse gem. The park's lakeshore is renowned for its vibrant birdlife, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts. Keep an eye out for Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos, drawn to the algae-rich waters.
You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the natural beauty of the park. Following lunch, continue your game viewing to explore more of the park's rich wildlife and scenic landscapes.
In the afternoon, you’ll drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may head straight to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure or return to Arusha for further relaxation or additional activities before your journey to the next destination.
