Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
You will be picked up from Nairobi in the morning and begin your journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve. En route, we'll make a scenic stop at the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the valley and capture some stunning photographs.
Upon arrival in the Masai Mara, you'll check in at your camp in time for a delicious lunch. After a refreshing break, you'll set off on an afternoon game drive, where you'll have the opportunity to search for the renowned Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) as well as other fascinating wildlife that inhabit the reserve.
As the sun sets, you'll return to your lodge, which offers fully furnished accommodations complete with hot showers and a buffet-style self-service meal plan. Enjoy a satisfying dinner and unwind in comfort, reflecting on your exciting first day in the Masai Mara.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Viewing in Masai Mara National Reserve
After a hearty breakfast, you'll depart with packed lunch boxes for an exhilarating full-day game drive across the Masai Mara. Early mornings are ideal for wildlife viewing, as many animals, particularly the big cats, are most active at this time.
Your experienced driver/guide will navigate the park with expert knowledge, maximizing your chances of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) along with other inhabitants such as wildebeests, topi, giraffes, and cheetahs. As you traverse the iconic African savannah, you'll appreciate the classic landscape of grasslands dotted with acacia trees that define the Masai Mara.
Around midday, you'll stop for a scenic picnic lunch by the river or beneath a tree, offering a view of the wilderness while you dine.
In the afternoon, you'll visit the Mara River, where you might observe crocodiles and hippos. If your visit falls between June and November, you'll witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration—one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife spectacles, often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world.
Optional: You may choose to visit a local Maasai village to experience their traditional culture and way of life.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
Following an early breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for a delicious lunch.
After lunch, set out on a game drive through the park, renowned for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Lake Nakuru is a sanctuary for both white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and an array of other species including lions and leopards. The park's varied terrain includes acacia forests and grassy plains, providing ideal habitats for a range of wildlife.
Lake Nakuru itself is an alkaline, shallow lake that attracts thousands of lesser flamingos, pelicans, and hippos. With over 450 bird species documented in the park, it is a paradise for birdwatchers.
As the day draws to a close, you'll return to your hotel for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay, ready to continue your safari adventures the next day.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Reserve
After breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on a scenic journey towards Amboseli National Reserve. The drive will take you through picturesque landscapes, offering glimpses of the diverse wildlife and bird species that characterize the region.
Upon arrival at Amboseli, you will have lunch at a designated spot or your lodge, depending on the timing of your journey. After checking in, if time permits, you’ll head out for a refreshing afternoon game drive. This drive will offer a preliminary glimpse of the park’s famous wildlife and stunning scenery, setting the stage for a more in-depth exploration the following day.
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your lodge, where you can unwind and prepare for a full day of adventure in Amboseli National Reserve. The lodge provides comfortable accommodations with great views, allowing you to relax and reflect on the day's experiences.
Day 5: Amboseli National Park Game Viewing
Begin your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a pre-dawn game drive through Amboseli National Park. This early start provides the best chance to witness the park's vibrant wildlife in action. Keep your eyes peeled for the iconic large herds of elephants, including the impressive matriarchs, as well as the diverse bird species that inhabit the park.
After a morning of thrilling wildlife encounters, you'll continue your exploration with a leisurely afternoon game drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscapes of Amboseli, renowned for its expansive herds of elephants and the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Return to your lodge in the evening for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay. The lodge offers comfortable accommodations and scenic views, providing the perfect setting to unwind after a day of exhilarating game viewing.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park to Mombasa
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge before checking out and departing for Emali. Here, you’ll board the 9:30 AM first-class train to Mombasa, offering a comfortable and scenic journey. Arriving at Mombasa Station around 2:00 PM, you’ll be met by a transfer cab that will take you directly to your hotel.
