Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel or lodge in Arusha. Accompanied by your driver-guide, you’ll travel to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its striking landscapes and abundant wildlife.
Upon arrival, embark on an exhilarating game drive through the park, where you’ll encounter some of its most famous residents, including large herds of elephants and towering baobab trees. Tarangire is a crucial part of the region's migratory cycle, hosting up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras annually.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch amidst the park's stunning backdrop before continuing your game drive. The park’s unique combination of wildlife and scenery promises a memorable start to your safari experience.
Day 2: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
After a hearty breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park. Your journey takes you through Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with scenic views of the lush highland farmland in Karatu.
As you leave the highlands behind, you’ll descend into the Serengeti, the quintessential African wilderness. This vast expanse of grasslands is renowned for its remarkable wildlife and uninterrupted views.
Upon reaching the Seronera section of the park, known for its rich wildlife diversity, you'll enjoy a leisurely lunch. The Seronera River, a crucial water source, attracts a wide variety of animals, offering excellent game viewing opportunities.
In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling wildlife drive to explore the Serengeti’s remarkable landscapes and fauna. Return to Nyani Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay, where you can unwind under the stars after a day full of safari adventures.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, enjoy game drives through the Serengeti, soaking in the last sights of its remarkable wildlife and landscapes.
On the way, you'll visit a Maasai village for a 30-minute cultural experience, offering a unique glimpse into the lives and traditions of the Maasai people.
Arrive at Simba Public Campsite, located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, in time for dinner. Spend the night here, surrounded by the stunning highland scenery and the sounds of the wilderness.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Start your day early with a picnic breakfast before descending 2,000 feet into the Ngorongoro Crater in our 4WD vehicle. The crater's floor, often referred to as a "Garden of Eden," is a haven for diverse wildlife due to its rich mix of grasslands, marshes, woodlands, and abundant water sources.
As you explore the crater, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals including the Big Five—lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and the elusive black rhino. The lush environment and constant water supply make this a prime location for observing wildlife in their natural habitat.
After a day of thrilling game viewing, return to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the incredible sights and experiences of the day.
Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After a hearty breakfast, you'll depart from the lodge with packed lunch boxes and head towards Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, clear the park entrance formalities and step into the park where you may be greeted by playful baboons in the lush forest.
As you embark on your game drive, keep an eye out for the park’s diverse wildlife, including elephants, gazelles, and the famous tree-climbing lions. The park’s unique environment offers a range of fascinating animal encounters.
Following your exploration and picnic lunch amidst the scenic beauty of Lake Manyara, you'll continue your journey to either Arusha Airport for your onward flight or to your hotel in Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
