Day By Day

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, where your guide will warmly welcome you. Transfer to your luxury lodge in Arusha, Gran Melia Arusha, and spend the day relaxing and acclimating to the vibrant surroundings. Your guide, an expert on Tanzanian culture, national parks, and wildlife, will be at your service throughout your safari.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart at 08:30 am with your guide for Tarangire National Park, a two-hour drive from Arusha. As you enter, your guide will open the roof for optimal viewing. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, and you may also spot giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and various antelopes. Enjoy a full day of game drives in the park’s diverse landscapes, including seasonal marshes and baobab trees, before heading to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you'll stop at a viewpoint before descending into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site, is home to a high density of wildlife including the Big Five. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, continue to Serengeti National Park, enjoying an en-route game drive. Check into Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for an evening of relaxation and dinner.

Day 4: Serengeti to Lake Manyara

Explore the Serengeti with game drives that highlight its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife, including the Great Migration and predators like lions and cheetahs. For a unique experience, consider a hot air balloon safari for breathtaking aerial views. Afterward, travel to your lodge overlooking Lake Manyara, where you’ll stay overnight and enjoy dinner.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Discover Lake Manyara National Park’s diverse wildlife, from elephants and baboons to the famed tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch while taking in views of the Rift Valley Escarpment. After your final game drive, return to Arusha for your departure, where you'll be dropped off at the airport.
